
College of Agriculture Food & Sustainable Development
The MMSU College of Agriculture, Food, and Sustainable Development (CAFSD) is the premier college of the University. It is recognized by the Commission on Higher Education as a Center of Development for Agriculture and Forestry in the Philippines and at the same time a National University of Agriculture, maintaining its status as a recipient of the National Agriculture Fisheries Education System (NAFES) grant.
The college is also consistent in surpassing the national passing rates in both Agriculture and Forestry Licensure Exams and has produced topnotchers.
Aiming to be excellent in the fields of agriculture, agribusiness, food science and technology, forestry, environmental science, development communication, and rural development, CAFSD continues to deliver the fourfold functions of the University in terms of quality education, significant and relevant research and extension activities, and local, national, and international partnerships and collaboration.
The College offers six degree programs namely: Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Level 3); Bachelor of Science in Forestry (Level 3); Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (For Level 1 Accreditation); Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (Level 3); Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (Level 1); and Bachelor of Science in Food Technology (For Level 1 Accreditation).
