The Mariano Marcos State University aims to strengthen and enhance its technology promotion and transfer programs through the establishment of the MMSU Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (MMSU-ATBI). The MMSU-ATBI envisions to nurture and promote the innovation and entrepreneurship skills among the students, faculty, and local communities in the Ilocos Region. It also aims to support the launch and growth of promising ventures in the locality through the use of indigenous resources as well as to provide assistance to MSMEs in improving their business operations and other regulatory requirements. The establishment of MMSU-ATBI endeavors to commercialize university R&D outputs, transfer technologies to intended users, create employment, and accelerate the creation of new enterprises in the region for economic development.
