English Language Fellow
Through the English Language Fellow Program, highly qualified U.S. educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) participate in 10-month-long fellowships at academic institutions throughout the world. The EL Fellow Program fosters mutual understanding, promotes English language learning and enhances English teaching capacity abroad. Through projects sponsored by U.S. embassies, EL Fellows share their professional expertise, hone their skills, gain international experience, and learn about other cultures. Student Exchange Programs
The Personnel Exchange Program offers MMSU personnel the opportunity to exchange teaching and research positions with a bona fide faculty and staff from the university’s domestic and international partner agencies for a year or less. By living and working abroad, participants get to improve their understanding and appreciation of another culture and education system.
Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA)
The Fulbright FLTA Program provides young teachers of English as a Foreign Language the opportunity to refine their teaching skills and broaden their knowledge of American cultures and customs while strengthening the instruction of foreign languages at colleges and universities in the United States. Fulbright Specialist Program
The Fulbright Specialist Program, part of the larger Fulbright Program, was established in 2001 by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The program pairs highly qualified U.S. academics and professionals with host institutions abroad to share their expertise, strengthen institutional linkages, hone their skills, gain international experience, and learn about other cultures while building capacity at their overseas host institutions. Special English Language Program for Foreigners
These are non-credit language and summer programs being offered by the university’s Language Center. It specifically focuses on the conduct of practical language education, training, and lectures in English and other second or foreign languages as needed/requested by target clientele.
