The conference, conducted by the Commission on Higher Education(CHED), aimed to enhance program effectiveness, inclusivity, and impact assessment mechanisms. In 2022, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) thoroughly evaluated MMSU’s processes and documents. Following this evaluation, MMSU was successfully accepted into the program in January 2025, joining institutions from 10 member countries: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The AIMS Programme, established by SEAMEO RIHED in 2010, serves as the region’s flagship initiative to promote student mobility across Asian countries. Over the past decade, it has significantly expanded, fostering greater international collaboration and academic exchange among participating institutions.
